Scope of this guide
Includes jurisdiction-specific archive records. Current legal effect, labelling provisions and product exceptions require separate verification.
PRODUCT REVIEW IN PRACTICE
Naoero: product dossier priorities
For Nauru, review retail cans and bulk kitchen packs as separate versions. Check English net quantity, drained weight and serving calculations for each pack size.
What do the selected sources cover?
Nauru’s 2025 record is expressly titled as a repeal instrument. This illustrates why finding an old prohibited-imports record does not establish a current prohibition. Read the Food Safety Act with its amendment and repeal chain rather than reaching an import conclusion from an older record title.
Jurisdiction-specific legislation records
Archive dates do not confirm current legal effect. Titles retain their source language; this selection is not exhaustive.
| Instrument / source | Record date and type |
|---|---|
| Food Safety (Prohibited Imports) (Repeal) Regulations 2025 (SL No.4 of 2025). | 2025-02-20 Regulation |
| Food Safety Act (No. 4 of 2005). | 2005-08-02 Legislation |
How is the label review dossier prepared?
Collect artwork, recipe, allergen evidence and importer details for the same product version. Our working method explains the shared document-preparation and reporting steps.
Document preparation and working method
Label review: evidence and findings table

Sources and research method
Sources are selected research references. An archive record does not confirm current legal effect; national adoption of Codex texts requires separate verification.
