FOOD REGULATORY CONSULTING
Label compliance review
A comprehensive review of mandatory information, readability and presentation before your packaging goes to print.
Content reviewed: · Our approach to sources

What do we assess together?
The label design is assessed by reading the product name, ingredient list, net quantity, date information and operator details together. The review scope depends on the product category and sales format.
We mark recommended corrections directly on the packaging draft and collect unresolved issues in a checklist. Comparing the revised design with earlier findings can also be included in the work plan.
Our review topics
- Consistency between the product name and category
- Consistency of ingredient, allergen and quantity information with the technical dossier
- Readability of mandatory information at the final print size
In what order do we review the print file?
We first establish the product identity and supporting documents, then examine each label panel. Text accuracy and placement on the design are separate checks. Findings are prioritised by significance and revision needs, so a visual correction does not appear to resolve an issue still awaiting technical data.
What will you receive?
- Annotated label draft
- Non-compliance findings and recommendations
- Pre-print review summary
What you can prepare to get started
- Current label PDF showing every panel
- Recipe and ingredient specifications
- Pack dimensions, destination country and sales channel
Sharing your document list is enough for the first meeting. The review method, delivery format and any local specialist verification needed depend on your product's characteristics.
