FOOD REGULATORY CONSULTING
Nutrition declaration review
Assess the basis of your energy and nutrient information, table layout and presentation on the packaging.
Content reviewed: · Our approach to sources

What do we assess together?
We examine the sources behind the nutrition declaration using the recipe, supplier specifications and available analytical results. We also assess consistency in serving information and units.
Issues requiring calculation or analysis are identified separately. Consulting does not replace a laboratory analytical report; analytical needs depend on the product's characteristics.
Our review topics
- The product version supported by the recipe or analytical data
- Internal consistency of energy, nutrients and units
- A consistent basis for serving and reference-quantity information
Where do the numbers in the table come from?
The review covers both the panel's appearance and the sources behind its numbers. Analysis dates, recipe versions and changes in supplier data are recorded. Rather than guessing a missing value, we identify the data or analysis needed. The report separates formatting corrections for the design team from calculation questions for the technical team.
What will you receive?
- Data-source assessment
- Nutrition panel review report
- Notes on analytical needs
What you can prepare to get started
- Existing nutrition panel
- Analytical reports or calculation evidence
- Serving and pack-quantity information
Sharing your document list is enough for the first meeting. The review method, delivery format and any local specialist verification needed depend on your product's characteristics.
