Scope of this guide
Includes jurisdiction-specific archive records. Current legal effect, labelling provisions and product exceptions require separate verification.
PRODUCT REVIEW IN PRACTICE
Argentina: product dossier priorities
For Argentina, consolidate Spanish packaging, recipe and nutrition calculations in one version. Investigate sweeteners and fibre ingredients in a cereal bar alongside front-of-pack wording; do not directly transfer a panel from another Latin American country.
What do the selected sources cover?
The Argentine records identify different amendments to the Código Alimentario Argentino, including one concerning Article 155 bis for foods of animal origin. Finding an amending resolution does not mean the full underlying code is in the dossier; locate the relevant product chapter and amendment chain together.
Jurisdiction-specific legislation records
Archive dates do not confirm current legal effect. Titles retain their source language; this selection is not exhaustive.

How is the label review dossier prepared?
Collect artwork, recipe, allergen evidence and importer details for the same product version. Our working method explains the shared document-preparation and reporting steps.

Sources and research method
Sources are selected research references. An archive record does not confirm current legal effect; national adoption of Codex texts requires separate verification.
